Tara is a NYC based artist. She is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Being the daughter of an opera singer, she first stepped on a professional stage at the age of 4. She had an extensive career in Las Vegas, NV for over a decade and had the amazing opportunity to be a part of the creation of many prestigious shows on the strip including, "Jubilee!" at Bally's, the original Cat in "Bite!" at the Stratosphere, "Fantasy" at Luxor, "Red Riding Hood" in Jerry Mitchell's "Peepshow" at Planet Hollywood and then went on to originate "Lady Luck" aka "The Girl in the Green Dress" in 'Vegas! The Show" at Planet Hollywood, directed and choreographed by Tiger Martina. It was in "Vegas! The Show" where she was awarded "Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical" by Broadway World. She appeared in Mariah Carey's video, "I Stay in Love", she performed with Toby Keith on The CMA Award Show, and appeared as a contestant on Paula Abdul's "Live to Dance." She competed in Pro/Am and Am/Am Latin and American Rhythm and Smooth Ballroom Dancing for many years and taught Ladies Styling and Burlesque. Her early training in dance and voice was at Point Park College and Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera in Pittsburgh. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance, Cum Laude from Kent State University and attended the prestigious Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival under the direction of Chet Walker. She was a member of Philadanco's 2nd Company after college graduation. She performed in many regional Musical Theatre productions. Favorites include; "Cabaret", "Annie Get Your Gun", and "Bye Bye Birdie.' She performed and traveled as a guest entertainer with "Sin City Comedy and Burlesque" for Celebrity Cruise Lines and sang in many of the local casinos and theaters in Las Vegas including her own one woman cabaret show entitled, "Song, Dance and Romance" conceived, written and directed by Bill Fayne. Tara made the move to The Big Apple in 2014 with her fiancé' at the time, now husband Scott to pursue her biggest dream of all, performing in NYC. She just recently finished an 11 month run in here NYC debut in the Off Broadway production, "Trip of Love" directed and choreographed by James Walski and under the musical direction of Martyn Axe as Principal Singer and Dancer, "Crystal" and had the wonderful opportunity to understudy and perform the lead singer role, "Angela."
